Styling Details

Nicole Bishop is the co-owner of Bishop Consignment and is a local personal stylist with a passion for encouraging women to have fun with their clothes. She loves to mix modern & vintage looks, and edgy fits with flowy & feminine pieces. Her eclectic approach allows her to pin point someone’s personal style and help them build a wardrobe tailored to their needs and personality.

The Curated Closet Experience is our way of “shopping” your closet together. Once Emily has worked her magic and created a foundational wardrobe for you that includes the pieces you want to keep and work with, Nicole will come to your home to help put looks together that work with your style goals. Whether it’s for work, everyday wear, or special events, Nicole will help you reimagine the possibilities of all of the pieces you own.

The Curated Shopping Experience includes an in-store session with Nicole at Bishop’s. She will pull items from the shop, creating a rack of looks that are inspired by and tailored to compliment your personal style goals and needs. You’ll go through the pieces together and try on looks and discuss how to they can be incorporated into your current wardrobe. Enjoy a beverage while you have your dedicated one-on-one styling session with Nicole.

Her simple and gentle process made decision time a breeze.

Working with Emily is such a joy. I was terrified I was going to have to try on all the clothes that didn’t fit anymore but held some enchanting attachment to my soul. Her simple and gentle process made decision time a breeze. She was an empathetic yet authoritative guide in what was one of the most cleansing experiences of my life. Its effect is water falling into many other facets of our lives and I’m forever grateful. My only regret was allowing this space to fill me with dread for so long and not booking you sooner. Thank you from the deepest caverns of my heart for this fresh start.

FAQ

I’m embarrassed about how messy or disorganized my space is. Will I be judged?2025-09-05T02:41:33+00:00

NO WAY! There is absolutely no judgment in my approach to organizing. I’ve worked with many women and high-achieving professionals who felt overwhelmed, behind, or ashamed of their space. My job is to support you with compassion, not to criticize. Together we work effectively and efficiently to help you overcome these feelings. We start exactly where you are — and we move forward together. This is a safe space for real life, not Pinterest perfection. Did I mention I started Joyful Homes after going through my own journey of clutter and chaos? I know exactly where you are at in this process, and how to lead you across the finish line.

My family thinks this is something I should be able to do myself — isn’t hiring help lazy or indulgent?2025-07-14T17:41:57+00:00

Not at all. In fact, it’s incredibly proactive and resourceful. You’re hiring a professionally trained and insured organizer with expertise to help you set up long-term storage solutions and systems that work for your unique lifestyle. We aren’t meant to do it all, and should consider outsourcing tasks if/when time and resources allow it. Decluttering and organizing (i.e. how to make decisions and properly store our items) is a learned skill that most of us were never taught — especially in the middle of raising kids, managing careers, and running a home. This isn’t about indulgence — it’s about freeing up the space, time, and energy for what and who you truly love.

Emily came and she conquered!!

Emily came and she conquered!! In one day we tackled a very crowded walk-in closet and a six drawer dresser. Emily, with great sensitivity coached me regarding what I should get rid of and what I should keep. With efficiency, we created my ideal wardrobe as I transition from working girl to retiree. Emily’s service is worth every penny because of her psychology behind organization, her ability to make fast workable decisions and her confidence in gettting you to completely reorganize your space!
